About The Conference
As well as being a human tragedy, the COVID-19 pandemic has been an unprecedented economic shock for the world economy. Estimates indicate the virus has reduced global economic growth in 2020 to between-3.4% to -7.6%, with a recovery of 4.2% to 5.6% projected for 2021. Global trade is estimated to have dropped by 5.3% in 2020 but is projected to grow by 8.0% in 2021. In 2021 some developed economies start recovering and businesses start operating again. Assuming that this virus will subsides by the end of this year, if it doesn’t go away at all, then the question now is: what afterwards? This first international conference on economic science with the topic “New Normal Era: Looking for Recovery Strategies for Economy and Business” will provide a platform for scholars and researchers to discuss or propose best strategies for economic and business recovery. As well as being a human tragedy, the COVID-19 pandemic has been an unprecedented economic shock for the world economy.
